Facebook finally got to grips with its url structure today and rolled out its seo friendly usernames. Previously, Facebook showed the users url as 3 layer deep, such as  example :  facebook.com/people/paul_steven/203040 which can now be changed to the new seo friendly version :  facebook.com/paulsteven70

However, I’m eight hours late to the party and my #1 choice of facebook.com/paulsteven is well gone, in fact my other two choices have been snapped up as well.

To change your Facebook account to a more search friendly url simply go to :  facebook.com/username

* Word of warning, once changed its not reversable, so think hard before you select your choice.
